Why Build a website about Black British History?

Black British history was an obvious choice. I’m a mixed race guy, born in Manchester England, in the 1970′s. I was adopted and grew up in the Almost totally White Peak District. The website was born out of my ongoing quest to understand my ethnicity. black British history is also the history of Everyone in Britain.

I have since discovered that I have Caribbean and Irish ancestry. On the Irish side can trace my line back to the Geoghegan Clan. The Caribbean side is much more complex. With limited access to information, I went on a quest of discovery.

Who are you

Today. I live in the UK Midlands and work in Web Marketing. I am actively involved in Social Media, including blogging.

I enjoy taking photographs, making 3d Artwork and want to do more skydiving.
