Me

My name is Phil, I built this site out of Clay. No really its WordPress with a few tweaks.

I’m a mixed race guy, born in Manchester England, in the 1970′s. I was adopted and grew up in the Almost totally White Peak District. The website was born out of my ongoing quest to understand my ethnicity.

I have since discovered that I have Caribbean and Irish ancestry, and on the Irish side can trace my line back to the Geoghegan Clan. The Caribbean side is much more complex. With limited access to information, I went on a quest of discovery.

Today I live in the UK Midlands and work in Education. I am actively involved in Hyper-Local news media, including blogging and local Radio. I work as a school Governor and run my own small SEO and Education Training Company.

I enjoy taking photographs, making 3d Artwork and want to do more skydiving.
